Minimum Requirements:LLBAdmitted Attorney of the High Court of South AfricaRecently completed articles or has up to one year post-admission experienceExposure to conveyancing matters will be advantageousValid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle (travel to clients required)Key Responsibilities:Conduct consultations with clients (in-office and off-site) for the signing of transfer and bond documentationManage and oversee property transactions from initiation through to registration and finalisation of accountsDraft and review agreements of sale, cancellation agreements, and other legal documents related to property transactionsHandle various property-related matters, including:Opening of township and sectional title registersSubdivision and consolidation of land and propertiesLiaising with local authorities, Deeds Office, and SARS regarding rates clearances and transfer duty mattersResolving issues relating to property registrations and title conditionsAttend to notarial work where required, including:Notarisation and authentication of documents for local and international useObtaining Apostilles and Certificates of AuthenticationDrafting and attending to notarial deeds Ensure all registrations are processed in accordance with agreed timelines, processes, and proceduresSupervise conveyancing support staff in relation to lodgements, registrations, and general conveyancing processesExamine legal documentation Provide legal advice on contractual implications and property-related mattersPrepare and certify legal documentsConsultant: Danielle Fortuin - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
