Responsibilities:Surveying of household contents at residence to provide an accurate estimate of the move/shipment.Capturing all survey details onto the RedSky survey application during the survey.Estimation of carton count/volume, as well as furniture volume.Identifying and measuring of any fragile items that require crating.Providing accurate guidance in residence on how items are wrapped, based on move type and distance.Explanation to the client that the quotation will be based on the surveyed inventory listing at residence, and any additions or omissions after the survey, could result in an amended quotation, or a re-survey.Presentation of relevant country information and FIDI regulations for export shipments.Discussing the timelines and mode of transport with client.Discussing insurance requirements with the client and explaining the various insurance options on each move type.Making sure that what was discussed during the survey, is re-capped with the client in residence for further understanding before leaving the residence..Accurately costing each move according to surveyed volume, packing requirements and move type.Obtaining of destination service rates from our international partners, and any rates for pets or vehicles from our preferred suppliers.Sending all costings to be checked by the National Sales Manager for approval.Making sure that all domestic quotations are sent within 24 hours and all international quotations are sent within 48 hours.Phoning the client, advising them that the quotation has been sent and offering to verbally go through the quotation with them for clarification of any possible uncertainties.Doing regular follow-ups on all pending moves, making notes of the discussions and moving dates out if necessary, or moving pending work to lost if necessary.Hand delivering quotations (where possible), and when in area, in addition to sending them electronically.Booking and securing of dates with operations for all accepted work.Providing a timeous handover to the internal sales executive for any booked work, advising of any documents received, or still outstanding prior to the move commencing.Assisting the internal sales executive in receiving any outstanding documentation.Contacting of customers during the move process and courtesy call visits (where possible) during the moveRequirements: Matric (Grade 12) minimum.Minimum of 3 to 5 years sales experience (preferably within the logistics industry).Computer literacy (MS word/Excel/Outlook).Strong admin skills.Ability to listen to customer requirements and create solutions.Ability to work extended hours, as and when required.Must be in the possessi

Make contact with potential customer when receiving a web lead.Arrange a physical survey, quote off a list or schedule a video survey.Capture inventory on the system and work out sales costings.Generate quotation and discuss with customer upon receipt.Ensure that customer follow-ups are up to date.Obtain signed acceptance from the customer to make the booking on the system.Discuss moving dates with customer and operations and book dates accordingly on the system. Send booking confirmation to the customer.For international bookings, book dates on the system and send booking email to General Manager: International Partners to distribute to the shipping coordinators.Communicate all move requirements and potential challenges on each move to the National Sales Manager and operations.Maintaining a good working relationship with colleagues, International Partners and Operations team.Manage customers expectations.Maintain communication with the customer throughout the move process.Booking and managing of all AmazinGo leads.Administration responsibilities: Upsell insurance and check accuracy of insurance application. Assist customer to complete insurance application form where necessary.Collect all signed documentation from customer and cut insurance policy at least 24 hours prior to the start of the move.Ensure that full payment is made and reflecting in the bank account prior to the move or that there is a valid purchase order from a pre-approved corporate customer. Invoicing of files before the 2nd working day of every month.Assist the External Sales Executives with all documentation requirements regarding any booked move.Liaise with the External Sales Executives regarding all move requirements and potential challenges relating to their booked moves and provide support as required.Inform the External Sales Executive and Insurance Claims Department of any potential claims within 24 hours of delivery.Send purchase orders to subcontractors and book service dates with them.Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) minimum.Sales experience beneficial but not a must as we will provide training.A basic understanding of furniture removal processes not a must but an advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to meet deadlines.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other business software.Accuracy and attention to detail.Presentable and professional.Excellent time management and administrative skills.
