Rhode Island Reds are very good egg-layers and thrive on free-range. They
form the basis of most modern egg-producing fowl. Males are big enough to be
used as table birds which makes the Rhode a true dual-purpose breed.
Our stock is proven quality. View the attached photos of our parent stock, this
is what they should look like! The colour should be dark brown (Mahogany) with
no white feathers showing in the outer plumage. Adult Males should weigh
between 3.2 and 4.8 kg and adult females 2.4 to 3.6 kg. Anything else are
not true Rhodes!
All our poultry are vaccinated against New Castle Disease (NCD) and Infectious
Bronchitis (IB). During the rainy (mosquito) season chicks older than 4 weeks
