Lips is a singing game in the vein of Sony’s SingStar series of games. Much like the popular past time of karaoke, players sing along to the lyrics of songs that are displayed on-screen. The game also judges you based on pitch, earning you points based on how accurately you sang. At certain points in the game, players are prompted to perform gestures with the microphone (such as tilting it upwards). When they do this, the bonus ‘Star Stream’ mode is activated which earns even more points.
Lips can be played in either Solo, VS, or Co-Op modes. At any time during solo play, a second player can shake their wireless mike to create a multiplayer game. VS mode is a battle for the highest score, while Co-Op has players working together to achieve a high score. If both players trigger Star Stream simultaneously in co-op, their star bonuses are doubled.
There are also special game modes for those who want to try something different: in Kiss, the on-screen couple gets closer together the better that both players sing. When they get close enough, you’ll be prompted to tilt your mikes up to make them kiss. Time Bomb lights a bomb’s fuse at the start of the song. By singing well, you’ll fill a glass up with water – when there’s enough water inside, use it to extinguish the fuse.
Players who don’t want to sing can still participate by using a controller as a Noise Maker. This allows them to add sound effects such as snapping fingers, cowbells, tambourines and even crowd noise to the song.

It marks the return of the surgically enhanced super soldier or “Spartan” Master Chief, John-117, as a playable protagonist for the first time since 2007’s Halo 3, who’d been considered dead or missing in action by Covenant and UNSC forces since the end events of that game.
The game sets the stage for a new story in which Master Chief returns to confront his destiny and face an ancient awakened evil that threatens all life in the universe. The main campaign also heavily explores the relationship between Master Chief and his AI companion, Cortana. Cortana is nearing the end of her life, before devolving into a state called Rampancy in which an AI begins to think itself to death. The campaign features both first-person shooter and driving elements, and can be played either single player or co-cooperatively (either over Xbox Live or split-screen). It features new weapons and an entirely new class of enemy characters called Prometheans.
The game also features a reach multiplayer experience called Infinity. The centerpiece of this experience is the UNSC Infinity, the largest starship ever built by humanity. The player controls a personalized Spartan IV which, as the player competes in multiplayer sessions, gains experience and unlocks new abilities, armor customizations, and weapons. Play is divided between two modes: Wargames and Spartan Ops.
War Games is the traditional Halo PVP experience, but couched as training simulations for all the Spartans on board the infinity. In addition to classic modes such as Team Slayer and Capture the Flag, War Games also features some new modes, such as Regicide and Flood.
Spartan Ops is an episodic cooperative campaign which contains ten episodes, in which the player players as their Spartan IV character. Spartan Ops is set 6 months after the end of the campaign and continues the adventures of the Infinity’s Crew. Each episode is released weekly and contains a new cinematic along with 5 new missions to complete. These missions can be completed solo, but are designed to be played cooperatively, again over Xbox Live or split-screen.

It details the Covenant’s invasion to Earth in year 2552 from the point of view of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. The player takes the role of various members of the ODST squad in the war-torn city of New Mombasa – most prominently The Rookie, who can be considered the protagonist of the game.
A departure from previous games in the Halo series, Halo 3: ODST is more open-ended and features more exploration. The new VISR visor system can provide light amplification and is used to identify friends and foes. The visor also provides map, navigation data, and link-up with the AIs that run the city. The players are also no cybernetic super-soldiers this time; player stamina and health are bigger factors than before, and both the speed and jump height are scaled back.
The game features a Firefight mode, a four-player cooperative game mode that is centered around the campaign. Rather than the hardcore sci-fi of previous editions, ODST has influences of film noir and jazz-like elements to complement the soundtrack.
Halo 3: ODST also includes Halo 3: Mythic, which is essentially a stripped-down, multiplayer-only version of Halo 3, and includes all Halo 3 downloadable maps, including Heroic, Legendary, and Mythic map packs and three previously unreleased maps.

Description
Gears of War 3 takes place 18 months after the end of the second game, and picks up on the on-going story from the Gears of War books, the last one being Coalition’s End.
After sinking Jacinto in order to flood the Locust Hordes’ subterranean homeland, the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG) was forced to relocate their entire population to their former island stronghold and navy base on Vectes via Port Farrell. The growing threat from the emerging Lambent, however, has now forced the COG to abandon Vectes Island as well. As a result, the COG has been disbanded, and its population split up into smaller communities to avoid drawing attention from the Lambent. The player will once again assume the role of Sergeant Marcus Fenix, leader of Delta Squad, currently aboard the flotilla of ships housing the survivors as they deal with the relocation and fight off the lambent threat.
Gears 3 retains the shooter gameplay used in previous games, using over-the-shoulder third person system, as well as a cover system that allows players to move from cover point to cover point, roll and blind fire weapons/lob grenades. Players are now able to knock down opponents as a result of vaulting over short cover points. Players can also do a ‘roadie run’, which is essentially a sprint, except in a crouched stance to reduce profile. Also making a reappearance is the active reload, which speeds up reloading if the player hits reload again quickly enough, or a damage boost and a quick reload if the player times it to perfection.
New to the Gears series is the ability to play with four other player’s over Xbox Live, with the three other players taking on the role of Delta Squad. Gears of War 2‘s five player co-op Horde Mode also gets a revamp to Horde Mode 2.0. Also included is the new Beast Mode, the opposite of Horde, in which players fill the shoes of a member of the Locust Horde attempting to survive wave after wave of COG soldiers. In addition to these, all previous multiplayer game modes return.
