.The successful candidate must have a Bachelors (Honours) degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field (preferable)and relevant quality training (diploma/certificate) in the South African fruit export industry would be preferable.
Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and execute (maintain) the appropriate fruit quality and compliance

Duties:
Stock management:
Uploading and/or receiving stock from packhouses
Making sure stock matches with intakes and that fruit is packed correctly with the correct specifications
Solving stock discrepancy issues
Managing stock by allocating to markets and/or clients
Repacking instructions for incorrect packed products
Registration of system data (such as pack types, product characteristics, counts etc.)
Client liaison:
Client liaison regarding packing, shipping times and sales
Sending packing instructions to packhouses
Sending loading notifications to clients
Handling packhouse queries regarding specifications and packaging material
Updating clients on general quality, packing progress, fruit availability and season progress
