*Position Purpose / Objective*
The Costing Estimator assumes responsibility for analysing and determining costing and other resource estimations for new and existing equipment by capturing the BOM on the MRP system and ensuring that all manufacture or procure decisions deliver the most cost-effective solution for Astec.
* Preparing work to be estimated by gathering engineering drawings, route pack, BOMs, and related documents.
* Identifying labour, material, and time requirements by studying the relevant documentation.

* Presenting the prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Preparing special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
