It was produced in Indonesia by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard series line. The SR520 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a 5-piece maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with inlayed abalone ovals position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK1-4 passive pickups AND a Bartolini MK1 preamp with a 3-band EQ, an Accu-cast B20 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machine heads. INTERESTING FACT: For 2010 the preamp was changed to an Ibanez EQB-IIIS with 3-band EQ. Obviously this was less ideal than the Bartolini preamp!! The SR520 was sadly discontinued after 2010.
