The team the player controlled in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas wasn’t the only Rainbow Six-unit in Sin City at the time. Under the command of Team Leader Bishop a second squad cleared the backyards of the city while the other team enjoyed themselves in the casinos. The player takes control over Bishop and visits the other, dirty side of Las Vegas.
The gameplay hasn’t changed since the first title so the game again puts four team mates at the player’s side which he can give orders with the tactical interface including “Move to” or”Use Gadget”. As he moves through the enemy infested areas, getting covered by his team, defusing bombs, rescuing hostages, two of the new features become evident: the Persistent Elite Creation (P.E.C.) and the Advanced Combat Enhancement Specialisation (ACES).
The P.E.C. allows the player to build a unique identity and save his progress from one match to another. Both in single and in multiplayer the player gains experience for killing bad guys and successfully completing objectives. Has he gained enough experience for the next rank, he will unlock new weapons, body armour and other more or less useful items. The ACES-system takes it a step further and rewards you a big chunk of experience and powerful weapons if the player completes challenges inside one of three categories: Marksman, Close Quarters and Assault. These challenges range from simply completing a specific Story Mode map to making a bunch of head shots in a row.

About the game:
Not even a day has fully passed since you rescued the US president from Mexican soil and you and the rest of your Ghost team are on the way home. Then the General phones in and gives you your next mission: a group of terrorists deposited two dirty bombs (normal blasting compositions combined with radioactive material) near the city of Juarez. Your goal as Captain Mitchell is to once again save the day with your three team mates.
Like in its predecessor Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter you see Captain Mitchell from behind while you command your team mates directly over the Cross-Com to fulfil your objectives like blowing up a bunch of anti-air-vehicles and then raiding a rebel outpost. To do so you have the normal Ghost team weaponry like the MR-C to your disposal which you can equip you and your team with before and at some points even during the missions. You also have access to a tactical map which allows you to see an aerial view of the current level.
The four multiplayer modes from the previous game are back: Co-op Campaign, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Hamburger Hill in which a team needs to hold a central zone of the map for a certain amount of time.
The PC version of the game was independently developed from the Xbox 360 version and is, besides the storyline, almost completely different and much more tactic-oriented. The 360 version is played from a third-person perspective and has a fewer multiplayer maps (and game modes). With the more action-based approach, there are no individual orders and a limited amount of team order (4 compared to 8 in the PC version). Players also cannot pick up enemy weapon or use stationary turrets. The game’s planning phase is entirely linear, while in the PC version players can plan dynamic insertion points. There are less classes and the tactical map is limited, using wire-frame instead of a full 3D map.
Compared to the 360 version, the PS3 game supports the SIXAXIS control, and adds extra multiplayer maps, 8 new weapons in quick mission mode, and two new co-operative multiplayer modes.

An update from MX vs. ATV Unleashed, Untamed has some of the classic features along with some new ones as well. There are 250 cc and 550 cc bikes and four ATV models, but also monster trucks, offroad dune buggys and trophy trucks.
Players can pull off insane stunts and compete in six different racing series (Supercross, Nationals, Opencross, Supermoto, Freestyle and Rally) or in the X-Cross, a tournament of all the series wrapped into one, plus sponsorships can be acquired: good performances have the player receive better bikes. It also features Crash Camera, a super slow-mo breakdown of accidents and crashes, similar to MotorStorm.
Some mini-games have been included as well, including ATV hockey, Monster Truck Smash and Tag to name a few. The online mode has the player compete against other competitors. The gameplay is very similar to the console systems, certain buttons for gas, brakes while the Wii remote can be used as well.
The DS and PSP versions are almost similar. While the DS has few vehicles and only has a championship mode unlike the many series in the major console versions, it contains ten exclusive tracks and three stadiums. The PSP version is almost similar, but has different series from the consoles: Race, One on One, Time Attack, Stunt Challenge, Stunt Race, Hang-Time, Combo Challenge, Flag Challenge. It also has the X-Cross tournament, but it is named the MX vs. ATV World Tour instead. Games can be played against friends using Wi-Fi.

The eighth main entry into the Call of Duty series, and the third in the Modern Warfare sub series, Modern Warfare 3 is a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In this first-person shooter the story picks up at the end of the previous game as Russia’s invasion into the United States continues, but the war has now engulfed Europe, with Great Britain, France and Germany participating, allied to the US. The player once again takes on the role of various characters throughout the campaign, including ‘Soap’ Mctavish from the previous game, as well as several new ones, including Frost and Sandman, members of the US Delta Force.
Next to the main story campaign with its scripted gameplay, MW3 features two cooperative game modes. The first is Spec Ops, making a return from the previous game. It has the players perform brief missions and a star is awarded based on the performance. The second is the new Survival Mode, where players fight off different waves of enemy soldiers which get progressively harder.
The multiplayer portion comes with the usual game modes (Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, …). In addition to these, several new game modes have been included. The first is called Kill Confirmed and requires the player to retrieve the dog tags of defeated enemies for the kill to register. The opposing team can also retrieve it to deny the player’s kill. Another one, Team Defender, involves teams capturing a single flag on the map and keeping it for as long as possible to score the most points. There are also several pre-made modes for private matches, such as Infection (kill enemies to recruit them), Drop Zone (hold a zone for points and care packages), Team Juggernaut (each team has an AI Juggernaut character), and Gun Game (every player only has a pistol and three bullets, and earns extra guns and bullets by getting kills).
The Killstreak reward system from the previous games for multiplayer has been scrapped in favour of the new Pointstreak system. Points are earned by completing additional challenges, next to just raking in kills. The rewards are organized in three strike packages: Assault, Support, and Specialist, each with new options and perks as they are unlocked.
Along with this game the Call of Duty: Elite service is introduced, a service that tracks player statistics and has social networking and smartphone integration. It is free, but subscribers who pay a monthly fee receive DLC, and can participate in competitions to win prizes. It also integrates with the earlier Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is an entry in the historical series with an open world environment and a focus on stealthy gameplay. Once Desmond Miles is forced to stab his ally, he falls into a coma. He then returns to the Animus to retain his consciousness. Once in the Animus, he falls into a back door known as the Black Room. There he hopes to reassemble his fragmented mind, to awake from his coma. He can do this by connecting his mind by locating a key memory. Along the road to doing that, he starts to relive the later memories of Ezio. The new Grand Master of the Assassin Order, after freeing Italy from the Templar threat, questions his life as an Assassin, wondering how it would’ve been had he never been one. Ezio thus sets out on a pilgrimage to his predecessor’s homeland of Masyaf, which he discovers has been overrun by the Templars. There he finds an ancient artifact, which is locked away, and can only be opened with five keys. The search for these seals takes him to Constantinople, where he finds out that there is an army of Templars forming in the city, threatening to destabilize the region. Ezio must follow in the footsteps of his spiritual mentor, Altaïr, to lead him to discovery and revelation.
The game follows the series’ open world gameplay. Though in this game there’s a new addition, an item called the hookblade, which is used to zip-line across the city or grab enemies to yank them in for a combo attack. The hookblade speeds up navigation around the city by around 30%. As well as the hookblade, Enzio has hundreds of different bomb variations that he can use, which are crafted. The game also added and expanded upon the seizing districts of the city from the Templars. While capturing a district is really similar to Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, the Templars will try to capture it back. Enzio must defend the districts captured by using a tower defense minigame, where he controls assassins from rooftops against waves and waves of Templar soldiers and siege equipment. The game is playable in 3D across all platforms, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, with the console versions being able to support both stereoscopic 3D mode for 3D TVs and 2D for HDTVs. All Revelations gameplay and cinematics also have S3D support.
Multiplayer is also present. The mode expands upon the basics of online modes from Brotherhood with new characters and locations. Players can customize their appearance and weapons, additionally they can start a guild and create a unique coat of arms. Matchmaking and user interface also have been improved. As well, players level up in the multiplayer game, and when they do, they move up in their Abstergo Templar rank and gain access to more information about the company.
New multiplayer modes are added to the already existing ones, including “story oriented quests”, as well as Capture the Flag. Some multiplayer maps are based on the island of Rhodes. Among the new additions is Deathmatch, which is different in the way that there is no compass pointing towards an assigned target, instead, there is a box on the top right of your screen where the current target is displayed. It glows blue when the character is in line of sight of the target.

The modern-day Assassins, including Desmond Miles, make their escape
and go into hiding from the Templars. They take refuge into modern-day Monteriggioni, which has been preserved as an historical site. There, they setup the Animus for Desmond to explore deeper into Ezio’s past and discover more about the missing Pieces of Eden. Ezio’s story takes place immediately after the end of Assassin’s Creed II, and has him leaving Rome to head back to Monteriggioni. There, he is ambushed and the Piece of Eden he has found is stolen. He must head back to Rome, which has since been seized by the Borgia, rescue its people, and
recover what has been lost.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood continues the story from Assassin’s Creed II. Players take on the role of Ezio as they use their assassin skills to liberate Rome and fight against the Templars. Players take on missions to progress the story, earn money and gradually free the city from the influence of the Borgia. Specifically, by burning down the thirteen Borgia towers that are being used to enforce their rule, Ezio can reclaim areas of Rome back for the people, and use his money to restore shops, shortcut tunnels, and even Roman landmarks. By doing this, players also earn a regular income from Rome, which they can claim from any of Rome’s banks.
New to the Assassin’s Creed series is a
multiplayer component. The backstory behind the multiplayer mode is that that Abstergo, the Templar organization, is using Animus devices to train their recruits to become Assassins. You take on the role of an Abstergo recruit, and must find and assassinate your target while being
tracked for assassination yourself. You must make sure that you do not arouse suspicion, otherwise it will become obvious that you are an assassin rather than a citizen, making it easier for you to be spotted and taken down. As you play, you earn points which allow you to level up and upgrade your character’s skills and abilities.
The Windows version, both on Steam and the boxed retail package, includes two bonus maps: The Trajan Market and The Aquaduct.
