The Addams Family is a pinball machine from
March 1992, manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Co. and designed by Pat Lawlor.
Addams Family was at the time, and remains to this day, the most commercially
successful pinball machine, selling 20,270 units, 40 more than Bally's Eight
Ball which held that position before since 1977. 1,000 more were to follow
later in a special Edition. Based on the movie of the same name, released in
1991, the Addams Family Pinball features custom speech by the movie's actors Anjelica
Huston and Raúl Juliá.
The game features a four flipper layout
including numerous Lawlor staples, such as the shot through the bumpers, and
the upper-flipper ramp shot. The game has many uniquely notable features
including an animatronic hand with a built in magnet that will grab and lock
pinballs for multiball, as well as a computer controlled mini flipper that,
using artificial intelligence programming, learns to shoot a tricky
cross-playfield shot with remarkable consistency. This game is also frequently
credited with popularizing the "wizard mode" (despite not being the
first game to have one). A true success for Bally/Williams, Addams Family holds
an important place in pinball history, and well deserves its sought after
status.

The Ghostbusters pinball experience highlights the humor of the
film as the player progresses through the game. The game also includes custom
speech by original “Ghostbusters” cast member, Ernie Hudson, who guides the
player into becoming the newest member of the Ghostbusters team!
Ghostbusters pinball is designed to be easy to play but difficult
to master. It features a moving interactive Slimer toy target and a fresh
distinctive layout that integrates traditional pinball devices with unique
multifunction two-way ramps featuring a magnetic diverter and scoring switches.
In addition, the game features a modern take on a ball transfer target,
combative open field drop targets, a ball eject target, a captive ball target
and custom molded toys.
The Premium and Limited Edition models also feature an interactive
ghost hologram target with animations, “para-normal” magnetic action
slingshots, distinctive ramp architecture and additional custom molded toys.
All models feature beautiful and unique hand drawn art by renowned
illustrator Jeremy Packer a.k.a. Zombie Yeti.

Just over 8000 units manufactured by Gottlieb back in the
days. The Test-Samples of this Game were called BIG INJUN but this name would
be changed to BIG INDIAN for the production. Big Indian is a 4 player pinball
machine and a very popular title here in South Africa, sort after title.
