Store Manager reporting to the Site Manager.
Job Overview
The Convenience
Store Manager will be responsible for all the operational aspects relating to
the shop, as well as to lead the team of employees to reach business
objectives.
Areas of
Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)
Receiving
Ensure stock is
received correctly according to company policy
Oversee
receiving area for stock counts, expiry dates and condition of stock
Cash
Handling
Manage and
control floats
Oversee
cashiers and cash handling protocol
Ensure Cash-up
documentation is managed procedurally
Petty cash
Perform random
audits
Stock
Control
Damages to be
minimized and stock losses to be according to company policy
Daily stock
rotation
Daily stock
counts, as per schedule, from Stock Office must be correctly counted and
reported
Short dated
stock to be reported daily
Arrange stock-take
preparations are done and manage process
Security
Open and close
shop
Complete daily
managers check sheet
General
security awareness and accountability as senior on site
People
Management
Ensure all
staff and support people are well-versed in local hygiene requirements and
explain to them the importance of why and how quality standards are to be
assured
Equip staff
with the required tests and equipment to assure product standards are upheld
Ensure staff is
well versed in the requirements relating to stock rotation and shelf displays
Identify staff
development needs and develop them accordingly
Evaluate staff
performance and provide feedback and coaching as required
Customer
Satisfaction
Establish and
maintain good relationships with customers so that they feel they receive good
value at all times. Ensure that Policies and Procedures are followed and
amended to support an ever-changing environment.

Record and
report key performance indicators on a weekly and monthly basis

Description
We seeks an experienced General Manager to run our restaurant along the
Sea Point.Cape Town. The General Manager will be responsible for the management
and overall responsibility of the restaurant. Supervision, performance
management and effective delegation to various junior managers and staff to
ensure an efficient and smooth-running restaurant.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
3-5 years in a similar role.
Experience in dealing with high volume, in a similar environment would be
preferable
Strong Leadership ability;
Ability to delegate and manage down effectively;
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
High attention to detail and process driven;
Ability to interpret statistical information;
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Ensure daily store operational requirements are met
Ensure smooth running of front of house and back of house
Supervision of staff
Ensure store hygiene, maintenance, health and safety requirements are met
Beverage cost, food costs and stock control are within specified range
Be on duty for busy shifts, weekends and all functions.
Ensure effective communication between staff as well as management
Ensure reports are issued timeously
