Rockwell uniplaner in perfect working order with good cutters .hard to find this machine in South Africa and lots of woodworkers have had good results from them This can be a very handy woodworking machine. It works like a jointer, but the cutting happens on the vertical fence instead of on the table. A large circular cutterhead spins at a high rate of speed. The cutterhead is fit with eight high speed steel cutting bits. This machine is particularly handy when jointing shorter pieces of wood that would be too dangerous to do on a conventional jointer.It was initially used in education centres for this added safety feature.It is also great for jointing highly figured wood, as there will be no chipping or tear-out like you would likely experience on a straight knife jointer.
