I offer violin lessons for all ages at my home in the South Peninsula. Learning the violin is an enriching, rewarding, interactive and creative activity. Making music is a fantastic way to cultivate balance and connection.
I have a patient and encouraging approach to teaching. Enjoying the process of learning, and playing with and for others, is what really matters to me. The key to learning to play the violin is to love it from the start - this is what will keep you interested in the long run, and it makes all other learning possible. Finding this love as a child or adult is to discover a lifelong gift. Come and give it a try!
Participate in relaxed and fun concerts for friends and family once or twice a year. Learn to play in duets or trios from early on.
I am classically trained to performance level (Associate in Violin Performance, Royal Schools of Music) with Grade 8 in Violin (UNISA).
Lessons are an hour for adults and teenagers and 45 or 30 minutes for younger children.
Lesson fees for 2026:
1 hour: R380
45 minutes: R300
30 minutes: R220
Travel will be quoted separately extra if required.
