Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces of machinery, components, and assemblies for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.Apply primers, base coats, and topcoats using spray-painting techniques to achieve the required finish.Mix paints, coatings, and materials according to specifications, ensuring correct color matching and consistency.Conduct inspections to ensure surfaces are properly prepared and paint applications meet Putzmeister quality standards.Maintain spray-painting equipment, spray booths, and tools in good working order.Identify and report any defects or quality concerns during the painting process.Ensure compliance with company safety policies, PPE usage, and health and safety regulations.Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and assembly teams to ensure deadlines are met.Keep accurate records of paint usage, stock levels, and maintenance activities. Key Requirements QualificationsMatric / Grade 12 (essential).Trade Certificate / Relevant Spray Painting Qualification (advantageous).Training in automotive or industrial spray-painting techniques is highly desirable.
