Primary purpose of the role:
The primary purpose of this role is to transform data into insights that drive business value. This is done by mining complex data using BI software and tools, comparing data to competitors and industry trends and creating visualizations that communicate findings to others in the organization. As a Senior BI Developer, you will also be expected to upskill your team-mates through knowledge and experience sharing. Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers over the phone, in person or via email to provide solutions to technical problems.
Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify clientsâ?? issues.
Develop and implement technical procedures effectively by quickly addressing customer problems to minimize downtime.
Carry out assessments to determine then need for changes in hardware/ software configuration.
Assist with the installation and setup of all hardware, software, and wireless requirements.
Educate clients on the procedures for resolving or preventing recurrence of technical problems.
Explain and provide IT solutions to customers in non-technical and comprehensible terms.

Prepare and present reports to update management on IT support operations.
Operate and worth with equipment such as, external storage devices, computer diagnostics, printers, etc.
Respond to enquiries about hardware and software issues.
Perform scheduled maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations.
Repair and/or replace faulty components of a computer / network system.

Qualifications and experience:

Matric and Certifications related to Learning Management Systems, particularly Moodle, can be considered in lieu of a degree when backed by significant hands-on experience.
Technical Skills:
A foundational understanding of Moodle or other Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Proficiency in identifying and resolving technical issues.
Experience in CSS, MySQL and basic PHP is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft 365.
Openness to learning new programming languages and frameworks.
Soft Skills:
Outstanding communication skills with a customer-centric orientation.
Professional use of English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
Other Requirements:
