The engine, gearbox, and steering box were overhauled by Ivan Meester at the DKW workshop about 4,000 miles ago. A month ago I replaced the front right universal joint rubber and the carburetor and fuel pump gaskets. About a year ago I had the chassis cleaned and sprayed with rustproofing tectyl. I also removed the fuel tank and flushed out the rust. I attached a magnet to the bottom of the tank to concentrate the rust at the drain plug.
