The Mercedes Benz 190SL Roadster (W121 B 11) is undoubtably one of those designs whose perfect proportions continue to inspire even half a century after its production ended. Between 1955 and 1963 this model was considered THE Daimler Benz sports cars whose ownership included film stars and other high profile people.Optionally the 190SL was also available as a coupe, with removable hard top. As the little brother to the far more expensive Mercedes Benz 300SL it still had the elegance and styling of its bigger brother.Enjoyable driving and a sense of freedom: the additional designation “SL” = “Sport light” does credit to the intended driving experience.
