When must a CoC be issued?
A CoC must be issued after:
Installation of an air conditioner or refrigeration system
Repair, modification, or maintenance
Commissioning of new systems
Change of ownership or property sale
As per PER Regulation 17(3):
“An authorised person or an approved inspection authority shall issue a certificate of conformity after completion of a gas installation, modification, alteration or change of user or ownership.”
Change of Ownership
For domestic and commercial properties, a new CoC is required when ownership changes.
The registered practitioner must inspect the entire system to ensure it is safe and compliant before issuing a new CoC.
