engine semi-rigids, and duel engine
ski-boats of all sizes. Swop out the Yamaha 17K alloy propeller with the
SCD4-15P with reduced slippage, and high grip for surf and rough conditions.
Good for about 35 kts on F130. The SCD4-16P runs to about 39kts on the F130 and
substantially faster and more economical than factory 17K alloy propeller. Perfect
balance of speed, acceleration and fuel economy. Runs freely throughout rev
range without loading up motor and prevents over-fueling and engine oil
dilution. Holds grip all way to max rpm and very popular and in use with many
-boats all around SA, probably the best balanced prop for these motors.
Special
order versions in 13P and 14P for heavier boats and underpowered high load
applications are available.

Special order Turbo (USA) 3 blade stainless steel propellers in 13-1/4" diameter x 13 pitch. This is almost only propeller which works on the 60-70 HP Yamaha 4 strokes as has correct blade area so rev's easily and does not bog down like larger diameter propellers. Also with cupping and good blade shape, does not slip at higher rpm...as with aluminium 3 blade uncupped propellers. Normally revs out to about 5800 rpm on 60HP and 6250 rpm on 70HP on boats from 16 to 18 ft. Rev's easily and motor runs without effort.
