verlate en Dirk het verdwyn. De La Rey bied haar n betrekking aan as onder
wyseres – om na klein Leonie om te sien todat sy Dirk kan opspoor.

speodig dat daar fout is op Soeterus. Leonie is vreesbevange en tant Karien en
Lucille – wat vroeer aan De La Rey verloof was – is vyandig en doen alles in
hulle vermoe om haar van die plaas af weg te kry. Tot oormaat van ramp ontdek
sy wie De La Rey is en daar breek n brand uit met verdoemende getuienis dat sy daarvoor
verantwoordelik is...
