We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer with strong knowledge in print production to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience designing print-ready artwork for large format and commercial printing, ensuring that all designs meet technical print specifications and maintain exceptional visual quality.The role involves working closely with clients and the production team to transform concepts into high-quality printed materials, including signage, banners, branded merchandise, and corporate stationery. Attention to detail, strong technical print knowledge, and the ability to prepare artwork for professional printing are essential.The successful candidate must understand the entire design-to-print workflow, from concept development to preparing final print-ready files for production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Artwork CreationCreate high-quality designs for large format and commercial print applications, including:- Banners and signage- Business stationery (business cards, letterheads, etc.)- Promotional marketing materials- Canvas prints and wall graphics- Vehicle branding and window graphics- Apparel printing designs- Develop creative concepts aligned with clients’ branding and marketing objectives.- Modify and adapt existing artwork to meet printing specifications.Print Production & Prepress- Prepare print-ready files in correct formats (vector PDF, AI, EPS).- Ensure correct use of *CMYK colour profiles and colour accuracy* for printing.Set up designs with:- Bleeds- Crop marks- Cutting lines- Proper resolution- Ensure artwork meets printer specifications for different materials and finishes.Technical Printing Knowledge- Understand and prepare designs for various print processes such as:- Large format printing- Vinyl and signage printing- T-shirt and apparel printing- Canvas printing- Window graphics (e.g., contravision)- Adjust artwork to suit different substrates and printing methods.Client & Production Collaboration- Work with clients to understand their ideas and visual requirements.- Consult with production staff to ensure designs are technically feasible.- Make revisions based on feedback from clients or production teams.Techinical Skills:Advanced proficiency in:- Adobe Illustrator- Adobe Photoshop- Adobe InDesignStrong knowledge of:- Vector artwork- Large format printing design- Colour management (CMYK vs RGB)- Prepress preparationPrint KnowledgeExperience designing for:- Large format banners- Signage and vinyl graphics- Branded stationery- Apparel printing- Wall graphics and canvas prints- Marketing materials Preferred Skills- Experience working in a *print shop or print production environment.- Understanding of *cutting machines, laminating, and finishing processes.- Basic knowledge of *branding and marketing design.- Ability to manage multiple design projects under tight deadlines.
