For times when your baby is napping, the gate has a Smart Stay-Open feature that allows you to keep the gate in the open position while you are doing a lot of back and forth trips like carrying the laundry or unloading the groceries from the car. The Ava Security Gate is pressure mounted, providing safety with easy installation. First, measure the space in which you would like the gate positioned to see if extensions are required. Attach the included Mounting Cups to the walls with double sided adhesive tape. Insert the Tension Knobs into the Gate Frame, turn to tighten the tension knobs until it is fitted evenly and securely into place. It can be used at the top of stairs with the included hardware mounts for added security. The Ava Security Gate is designed to fit doorways, hallways, and other openings between 75cm to 1.02m wide using the included extensions.
