The EMU Black is a class-leading, stand-alone engine management system, designed to operate the most advanced and complex engines available. It is a successor of our proven system, EMU. Throughout EMU’s lifetime we collected lots of data that allows us to substantially improve the device hardware and software.
EMU Black targets race cars, road cars, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine applications.
The EMU Black controls fueling, ignition and auxiliary systems on 1-12 cylinder engines including those with drive-by-wire throttles and VVT.
It can drive up to 6 passive or 12 smart coils directly and does not require external amplifier/power modules to achieve this. Sophisticated drive-by-wire strategies provide a wide range of throttle control along with advanced plausibility (fault/error) checking for safety.
Free, easy to install firmware upgrades further improve system capabilities (e.g. new strategies, trigger patterns, CAN data streams).

The EMU Black features more built-in value than any other aftermarket ECU. It easily matches the functionality of other stand-alone management systems with multiple inputs and outputs. Unlike many other ECU systems, the EMU Black has built-in wideband lambda input (Bosch LSU 4.2, and LSU 4.9 sensors wire directly in), MAP control connector (4 bar MAP sensor on board), 2 EGT probe inputs and an input to directly connect a Flex Fuel ethanol content sensor. All of this provides greater flexibility, reduces costs and negates the requirement for external or supplemental signal conditioning control systems and the associated wiring that other management systems require.

The GTX Gen II line received a major compressor wheel aero update that gives it the ability to produce up to 20% more horsepower than the previous version.
GTX Gen II compressor wheels were designed using proprietary Honeywell computer simulation technology focusing on CFD analysis to optimize the wheel design to reach maximum efficiency and mass flow for each turbocharger. Each GTX Gen II turbocharger has the ability to create more air mass flow, offering enthusiasts a wider range of power output when tuning the vehicle. The 8mm dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge provides optimal turbo response and reliability through its reduction in shaft motion.
The Gen II GTX Series Turbochargers feature a fully-machined compressor inlet, fully-machined compressor outlet.
We also added a brand new compressor housing featuring a high-flowing design matched perfectly for the new compressor wheel upgrade. Gen II compressor housings are not interchangeable with Gen I compressor wheels; however, all Gen II turbochargers are outline interchangeable with the equivalent GT and GTX Gen I products making a turbo swap easy to perform using all existing piping.
The new compressor housings are equipped with a fully machined speed sensor port that accepts the Honeywell Garrett speed sensor (Sold separately). This feature allows tuners to understand existing operating conditions, which is important when fine tuning a turbocharger to its most efficient operating conditions. The speed sensor port comes plugged from the factory and can be removed using a 5mm allen key when ready to install a speed sensor kit.
All Gen II GTX series turbochargers are compatible with existing GT and GTX turbine housings kits. Gen II turbochargers are only offered through Honeywell Garrett authorized distribution centers.

Golf 7 Gti / Golf 7 R (MK7) Audi S3 - Motorsport MQB Uprated Intercooler New uprated intercooler for the Mk7 Golf, MK7R, Audi TT MK3 2.0 TSI and
S3 (8V chassis) fitted with the latest EA888 2.0 TSI engine. Volkswagen
Audi group have changed just about everything from the Mk6 to the Mk7
chassis so this core has had to be designed from scratch in order to fit
in with the redesigned radiator and condenser.The core fits in
the stock location and requires no modification to the radiator pack
assembly. Cooling is radically improved. Our test Golf Mk7 GTI achieved
16bhp more without any other modifications whilst also demonstrating a
consistant 25-30 deg C (77-88 deg F) temperature drop over stock on the
dyno, with all runs performed on the same day with only a 2 deg C
variation in ambient temperature over the runs (in fact it was 2 deg C
hotter when we tested the new core). The core measure 650x420x50.You can also see the temperature drop comparison of the stock and new cores in the graphThe
stock core typically increased in temperature by 5 deg C on each
subsequent run, with heat soak becoming a real issue after only three
runs. The stock ECU was pulling timing and boost after only one run –
typically anything over 40 deg C inlet temperature will cause the ECU to
change ignition timing to suit – and the stock core peaked at 60 Deg C
on its first run, where the new core was able to get temperatures back
under control after each run so that by the end of 4 back to back runs
the core temperature had only risen by 4 degrees CAll of this was
achieved on a stock car (it should be noted that although Volkswagen
claim 220bhp for this new engine we have seen examples range from 230 to
240bhp completely stock, on the same rolling road). At the time of
writing there are no software solutions (other than tuning boxes)
available to really test the car or the intercooler, but we are
confident that the core will continue to deliver a much lower intake
charge temperature than stock across all states of tune, as its based on
the award winning Mk5/Mk6 intercooler which has been fitted with great
success on everything from road and track cars, to full blown race and
