Mercedes Vito/Viano Manual 6 speed gear box Lever, gets worn and loose over time on High Mileage vehicles. This causes problems shifting into 2nd gear and also sometimes reverse. This removes the worn plastic bush, instead of replacing the complete gear lever assembly (which is a very expensive part at the dealers)

Cost of the locally manufactured part is R400 Inc Vat
Add R100 for Fastway Courier Door to Door to any address in SA.
Please also note there can also be other reasons for a Vito not shifting into 2nd and reverse. Could also be loose bracket or a cable adjustment. Worst case are worn parts in the gearbox, but this is a cheap point to start.
Our new stock has switched to a Gray colour part (previously White) as this material is longer lasting.

I also sell the Plastic Gear lever repair kit that fixes a common problem on these Vito's where you cannot easily get into 1st or 2nd gears and possibly also reverse.
This kit is R500,00
To replace: the old one has to be broken off, and the new knob glued on with a good quality glue. The old vinyl gaiter removed from the plastic frame, the frame cleaned, and then re-glued in position with contact adhesive.
