VTA or DV+?
Depends if you want sound or not. Both valves are
constructed with the same quality materials and valve mechanism, and both offer
the same performance and reliability benefits. However, the VTA vents to
atmosphere for sound whilst the DV+ recirculates the air to keep it quiet.
Why choose a VTA over a “BOV spacer”?
“BOV spacers” make sound. But that’s it. All the inherent
performance and reliability issues you get with the factory diverter valve
remain, because a spacer doesn’t change the diverter valve in any way. The VTA
improves the operation of the diverter valve for sound AND performance.
Why choose a VTA over a kit that includes a solenoid?
Because there’s no performance benefit by replacing the
factory solenoid, only a much higher price! If a VTA with the factory solenoid
can open in a couple of hundredths of a second, why pay more than you need to?

A leaking crankcase breather valve (PCV)? Engine all covered
in oil on the intake side?
If your car is making squeaking/whistling noises which stop
after the oil level dipstick is removed, showing a high level of engine vacuum,
you can be 99.9% certain that the crankcase breather valve has been damaged or
to be specific, its membrane.
Other symptoms of its damage include increased oil
consumption, smoke, and irregular engine operation.
The membrane operates in hot oil fumes and simply becomes
damaged and deformed. Underestimating this defect can result in engine deposits
building up in the turbo, faulty flow meter operation, issues with the EGR
valve (irregular engine operation, power shortage), intercooler soiling
(increased fume temperature on the intake), reduced air capacity on the intake
(power reduction) to name a few.
The service typically suggests replacement of the whole
component, i.e. the oil filter base (valve cover), which is integrated with the
oil separator (crankcase breather valve) and this fix is expensive as you must
buy the complete unit. However, the fix is simple, just replace the membrane
inside the unit at a fraction of the cost of a complete unit.
You can save a lot by buying the membrane itself from us and
replacing it on your own or we can do the repair for you.

Blow Off Valve – Universal Fit on High Performance
Turbocharged Vehicles
Featuring a 50mm aluminium piston so that there are no
issues with split diaphragms, we have not found the power handling limits of
this valve yet! The piston uses heat stabilised Viton O-rings and high
temperature Mobil 1 grease to ensure a long life with minimal wear and very
long service intervals.
As tested on various high-boost applications, it proofs its
ability to handle high boost and high-power applications. The vacuum barb is a
huge 6mm ID and fully rotatable 360 degrees to suit any installation. This
valve is suitable for custom installations only and cannot be installed on a
silicon hose. It is available in machine finished silver.

Crankcase Breather Valve Membrane/Diaphragm
A leaking crankcase breather valve? Engine all covered in
oil on the intake side?
If your car is making squeaking/whistling noises which stop
after the oil level dipstick is removed, showing a high level of engine vacuum,
you can be 99.9% certain that the crankcase breather valve has been damaged or
to be specific, its membrane.
Other symptoms of its damage include increased oil
consumption, smoke, and irregular engine operation.
The membrane operates in hot oil fumes and simply becomes
damaged and deformed. Underestimating this defect can result in engine deposits
building up in the turbo, faulty flow meter operation, issues with the EGR
valve (irregular engine operation, power shortage), intercooler soiling
(increased fume temperature on the intake), reduced air capacity on the intake
(power reduction) to name a few.
The service typically suggests replacement of the whole
component, i.e. the oil filter base (valve cover), which is integrated with the
oil separator (crankcase breather valve) and this fix is expensive as you must
buy the complete unit. However, the fix is simple, just replace the membrane
inside the unit at a fraction of the cost of a complete unit.
You can save a lot by buying the membrane itself from us and
replacing it on your own or we can do the repair for you.
Your engine will be dry and clean again and the oil will not
reach the intake system and thus the turbo.
The replacement is a straightforward task and will take
approx. 30 minutes.
