A classic Olivetti Studio 44 vintage typewriter, presented in good condition and complete with its original carry case and manual. Finished in the iconic green body with grey keys, this machine has strong visual appeal and timeless design.
Please note: the typewriter has not been tested and is therefore sold voetstoots (as-is).
The Olivetti Studio 44 was designed to bridge the gap between portable and desktop typewriters and is often regarded as the desktop counterpart to the popular Olivetti Lettera 22 and Lettera 32 models. The example on offer was made in Barcelona, Spain, and is likely from the 1960s, a period during which some machines were branded “Underwood Olivetti” following the merger.
Known for its durable construction and tactile typing experience, the Studio 44 remains popular among collectors, writers, and design enthusiasts. While the case is slightly bulky, the typewriter itself is a practical and well-proportioned size. Its wonderful aesthetic makes it as much a display piece as a functional writing instrument—one that inspires creativity, whether poetry or prose.
