Coleman and other Paraffin Pressure Lamp Servicing & Repairs

I service, repair and will also purchase all brands of paraffin pressure lamps and lanterns like Coleman, Tilley, Primus, Petromax, Bialaddin, Vapalux and others. I charge a flat rate of R300.00 to service/repair a recently working Coleman or Tilley type lamp or lantern. Because of the additional labour required, there is a surcharge of R100,00 for Petromax type lamps and also for lamps that are in very dirty or rusty condition or have not worked for a long time. Cost excludes parts supplied. I will pay cash for pressure lamps and stoves in any condition, whether faulty, incomplete, working or not. I will also buy job lots of old/obsolete spare parts, glass globes, etc. I stock a range of parts and mantles for most pressure lamps and lanterns. This is an exquisite antique candle lantern. Made in England, it has beveled glass windows, brass candle holder and polished reflector. There is a spring in the candle holder that moves the candle up as it burns down. The whole piece is in beautiful, complete condition and the brass parts will polish up nicely.
