About the RoleThe Pick Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesAccurately pick products from shelves or storage areas according to order specifications.Check items for quality, quantity, and damage before packing.Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping or delivery.Maintain accurate order records and update inventory systems as required.Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.Keep the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards.Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.Qualifications & Required SkillsMatric/Grade12 - essentialPrevious experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is advantageousStrong attention to detail and accuracyPhysical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and move packages as required.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Basic numeracy and literacy skills.Reliable transportWorking ConditionsWarehouse environment with varying temperatures.May require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periodsWorking HoursOnsiteHead Office: 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00-14:00 Fridays (Will be required to work on weekends and public holidays)Location: Paarden Eiland, Cape Town

Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts against packing lists and purchase orders.Conduct Data Dotting and ensure full traceability of all serialized parts.Accurately bin, pick, and pack stock according to system and dispatch requirements.Complete Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) within 24 hours of receipt.Support cycle counts, stock takes, and variance investigations.Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in line with 5S and Health & Safety standards.Operate forklifts (where licensed) and assist with loading and unloading vehicles.Accurately capture and process all warehouse transactions within the system.Perform branch, dealer, and supplier collections and deliveries as required.Participate in parts standby duties during weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Inbound Accuracy: 98%Outbound Accuracy: 99%GRN Completion: Within 24 HoursBin & Cycle Count Accuracy: 98%Data Dot Compliance: 100%5S Housekeeping: 90%Safety Incidents: ZeroMinimum RequirementsGrade 12 / Matric (Essential)Minimum 5 years warehouse experience, preferably within an automotive or parts environment.Valid forklift licence (advantageous).Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Proactive, disciplined, and results-driven.Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Personal AttributesReliable and dependable.Strong work ethic.Organized and methodical.Customer-focused.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Positive attitude and willingness to assist where required.Â
