Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
Capture and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
Prepare supporting documentation for month-end processes.
Support with creditor and debtor reconciliations.
Administration
Provide general office and administrative support.
Manage filing systems and maintain accurate documentation.
Assist with HR administration (leave records, onboarding files, etc.).
Answer phone calls and handle general correspondence.
Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal departments as required.
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) required.
Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Administration preferred.
1–3 years’ experience in an accounting or admin support role.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Working knowledge of Pastel / Sage / QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
Oversee monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and trial balances.
Process supplier invoices, payments, and manage cash flow.
Handle VAT, PAYE, and statutory returns.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax consultants.
Administration & Operations
Supervise and support administrative staff.
Ensure smooth running of office operations and internal communication.
Manage contracts, insurance policies, and company documentation.
Support HR functions such as payroll processing, leave management, and staff records.
Oversee procurement and supplier relationships.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong working knowledge of Pastel / Sage / QuickBooks or similar systems.
Excellent Excel and reporting skills.
Good understanding of SARS and labour compliance.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organisational ability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
