Ford Figo 1.5 Ambiente (5dr)

Light hatchback under R140k

Launched in 2015 the latest version of the Ford Figo is a major step forward. Now fitted with Ford’s common design front grill the Figo appears far more attractive than its predecessor.

The Ford Figo’s 16-valve unit develops a healthy 82kW of power and 136Nm of torque. In a 0-100km/h dash, the Figo stops the clock at 11.8-seconds. Despite its large engine, the Figo’s fuel consumption sits at an impressive 5.9-litres per 100km. A quick peak under the bonnet and the engine bay proves to be super tidy and clean, with no issues spotted here at all.

The gearbox has a nice quality feel to it. The gear shifts prove to be very smooth, while the weight of the shifts feels especially good. The clutch is in perfect condition with a nice and easy operating action.

The Figo comes equipped with an ABS-braking system with electronic brake distribution. The brakes feel very good and no vibrations to speak of. Although ride comfort proved to be good on the Figo.
