FUEL TYPE: It is a
wood-fired unit, meaning it operates without electricity, gas, or paraffin,
using small pieces of dry wood as fuel.
OPERATION: Cold water
enters at the bottom, a fire is lit in the integrated firebox, and hot water
exits from an outlet pipe at the top. Hot water can be heated quickly, with
some reports of reaching desired temperatures in 20-30 minutes depending on
external factors.
Safety & Installation:
Units are typically supplied with a SABS-approved safety/pressure relief valve,
which must be installed to prevent high pressures and temperatures.
Installation instructions are provided, and consulting a plumber for correct
installation is recommended.
APPLICATIONS: Ideal for
homes, farm staff housing, game lodges, off-grid living, and areas experiencing
load shedding (power cuts).

An absolute fantastic product if you want boiling hot
showers at the end of a day hiking or camping. Use it with my solar setup to
power the motor for a great shower. The product has a control to adjust
temperature setting. Be careful to test temperature of water as it produces
extremely hot water. The shower head switch controls the flow and ignition so
no need to waste water or gas. A Huge improvement on the heating element makes
this a highly effective gas water heater for camping or outdoor home use. With
the added benefit of a handy carry bag, it’s a compact camping tool any camper
should not be without. I particularly like the click-on inlet and outlet pipes,
quick and easy to assemble. (Brilliant product. Connected to the bath shower.
Works very well. Cut down on electricity bill! Highly recommended.)
