Hostess wanted for a Fine Dining Restaurant | Waterfront, Cape Town

We are looking for an elegant, confident, and highly professional Host or Hostess to join our prestigious fine dining restaurant located in the heart of the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

• Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience, preferably in fine dining or luxury establishments.

• Excellent personal presentation and a polished, refined appearance.

• Strong communication skills and a warm, welcoming attitude.

• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

• Professional photos must be included with the application.

As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a central role in delivering a flawless dining experience.

Your duties include:

• Warmly welcoming guests upon arrival with outstanding etiquette.

• Escorting guests to their tables and ensuring a comfortable and smooth seating process.

• Coordinating table allocations and working closely with the service team to match guests with the appropriate waiter.

• Managing the reservation system and handling walk-ins with precision and professionalism.

• Maintaining a serene, elegant atmosphere at the entrance at all times.

• Ensuring every guest’s experience is exceptional—from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
