SGB Physical Education post

Observatory Junior School seeks to employ a qualified InterSen Educator, who has experience in teaching Physical education across all grades in a Primary School. The incumbent must manage all sporting activities and the extra and co - curricular programme that the school offers. The post is effective from 1st January 2026 – 31st December 2026. This is an SGB position.

Requirements for the post:

* LOLT is English with Afrikaans as FAL

* Highly motivated to maintain and help learners achieve excellent goals.

* Co – operative member of the staff who displays sound knowledge and

competence in planning and assessment strategies.

* Willing to mentor/coach staff members in various codes of sport that will

enable them to coach learners efficiently.

* Excellent work ethics and time management skills

* SACE Registered

* Good interpersonal skills

* Excellent discipline strategies with sound classroom management and

administrative skills

* Criminal Clearance

* Computer literate and experience in E learning usage.
