“A” Player only! Motivated, Gr R teacher and Principal. Report directly to owner. Based in Rugby, Milnerton. The ideal candidate is happy where he/she is currently employed but is interested in a more self-directed work environment and responsibility.Someone who is interested in a career, not a job, who wants to do the work and be recognized for a job well done. 10-15 years’ experience as a full time teacher AND management experience (Principal, Deputy Principal or Head of Department) would be ideal.

3. Reporting

Among other things, you will be solely responsible for the following:

· Teach Gr R

· Weekly and Quarterly academic and activity planners

· Review Quarterly reports and performance

· Weekly staff meeting to provide teacher support and training

· Manage parent communication process

· Verification and collection of all Accounts Receivable

· Prepare and report monthly payroll sheet for the bookkeeper, (time cards, salary, commission, bonus, vacation, accrued time off, sick leave)

· Written analysis of the monthly performance reviews, ratios and relationships (including variances from budget or prior period performance ***Template will be provided by director***) and proactively report on findings for management review and corrective action

· Maintain all Procedural and Compliance records (and supporting documents) in an orderly, robust, assessable filing system

· Comply with all local, state and federal financial, industry and regulatory reporting requirements and licenses

· Monitor and report on all property, plant and equipment purchases and inventory levels

· Preparation of Weekly Flash Reports for General Manager, Owner and management

· Hiring, training and managing Teachers

· Administration and maintenance of employee learning library, supplies for kitchen (free food for employees), Charity Center and retail/impulse goods

· Human Resources including maintenance and administration of employee files, documentation of employee files, employee handbook, employment risk and unemployment claims, health insurance

You must know and be proficient in:

· Time, Day and Week planners

· Emails and Computing

· Excel (Windows/PC)

Your duties will include being the primary point of communication contact for the owner

This position is available immediately (effective Jan , 2020). We have the ability to wait for the right person, would expect you need to serve notice.
