The Tax Shop Accountants - Durban South, situated in Bluff/Merebank is hiring a suitable

candidate to work on a part time basis.

Role Description

This is a part-time role as an Assistant Accountant at The Tax Shop Durban South. As an

Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks

such as bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and processing invoices. This role is located in Durban and requires onsite presence.

Qualifications

For the Assistant Accountant role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Sage Pastel or Xero
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Have you completed the following level of education: Bachelor's Degree? Or studying towards an accounting qualification.
• How many years of work experience do you have with accounting packages and payroll software and have worked in an accounting practice.
• Are you willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations?
• Are you comfortable working in an onsite setting and comfortable commuting to clients?
• How many years of Accounting/Auditing experience do you currently have?
