Senior BA - Contract

A leading retail bank seeks the expertise of a strategic-thinking senior BA to fill a 24-month contract role for its Johannesburg division. You will guide the critical evaluation of new and existing software/application solutions and continuous business industry research. The ideal candidate must possess a suitable IT tertiary qualification, have 3-7 years’ prior experience as a BA, Project Management skills, detailed knowledge of Banking & IT standards and governance and Testing practices and methodology and strong leadership – able to manage teams, expectations and process, solution and operational change. Ideally you should also have experience with the Agile development lifecycle, Change Management, Credit Granting/Savings, Collections, MIS/BI/Data Warehousing and UML, BPM – EA and Visio.
Requirements:
Qualifications -
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
Experience/skills -
At least 3-7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
Basic Project Management experience.
Leadership skills including management of teams, expectations and process, solution and operational change.
Detailed knowledge of –
Banking and IT standards and governance
Testing practices and methodology
A valid drivers licence and own vehicle.
Ideal to have –
Agile development lifecycle.
Change Management.
Banking systems.
Credit Granting/Savings.
Collections Environment.
MIS/BI/Data Warehousing.
Knowledge of UML and business process modelling (BPM) – EA and Visio.
