A Storeman

We are looking for an experienced Storeman for an IT Distribution Company in Nelspruit.

Purpose of the position:

The Storeman is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of IT equipment and related products within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate stock control, proper inventory management, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of organization and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Previous experience as a Storeman or Warehouse Assistant (preferably in IT or electronics)
• Basic understanding of IT products (e.g., laptops, routers, switches, accessories)
• Computer literate (MS Excel, warehouse systems)
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming IT stock (hardware, peripherals, networking equipment, etc.)
• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
• Ensure all stock is stored safely and systematically
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock audits
• Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
• Handle returns, faulty stock, and warranty items
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of all goods
• Assist with loading and offloading deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
