Isithebe, Stanger, Ballito, Tongaat and surrounding area

To market the Company, to source and secure new business thereby increasing sales and market share within the allocated area.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Increase the sales, profits and market share of the Company by penetrating the marketplace by means of cold calling, follow ups and effective client calls
  • Canvass and secure new business to fill the major sales objective pipeline for the region
  • Increase the region's sales and profits through sales calls
  • Monitor and maintain healthy client relationships
  • Correspond with clients on all levels
  • Ensure that the operational hand over is done correctly, so that contract workers and clients’ needs are met
  • Ensure that all of the client’s requirements are met with regards the contract details and that the administration (paperwork) is correctly completed and submitted
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relations with prospect clients
  • Complete daily and weekly activity reports
  • Report on market trends and opposition activity
  • Ensure brand dominance and increase market share growth in your area
  • Prepare quotations
  • Ensure quotations are delivered to clients within 12 to 24 hours of receipt of request and negotiate accordingly
  • Ensure credit applications, movement slips, and order confirmations are completed, signed by client and handed in to the Sales Coordinator before the start of a contract
  • Ensure that the client is aware of Company procedures to ensure timeous payment of workers and our invoices
  • Check invoices for correct charge rates and correct client details
  • Liaise with Debtors Department in terms of outstanding monies / account queries and following up with client to ensure payment is received
  • Attend sales meetings as and when required
  • Daily call sheets to be completed and emailed to management on a weekly basis
  • Achieve monthly and year to date new business targets as set by the Company
  • Monthly reports to be completed and sent to the General Manager: Sales and Branch Manager

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric or a relevant tertiary requirement
  • At least 2 years of sales experience with proven sales track record
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Valid drivers licence with own reliable vehicle
  • Public speaking ability
  • Previous sales experience within the Temporary Employment Services (TES) Industry would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of South African Legislation (Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act) and the TES Industry
