Telesales Representative Wanted for United Business Solutions.

Job brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to contribute in generating sales for our Office Automation and Telecoms company starting January 2020. You will be responsible for setting up meetings for our team of account managers and/or generating enough interest over the phone for client to allow us to send them a quote.

An effective Telesales representative must be an excellent communicator, be able to easily “brush off” a NO and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone while always focusing on the end goal of SETTING UP A MEETING!

Responsibilities

· Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts and your own sales skills.

· Generate leads for the existing Sales Team.

· Answer questions about products or the company.

· Ask questions to understand customer requirements so that we can match one of our products to their needs.

· Where a sale is not viable due to client being in contract with a competitor, the Telesales person will then be required to collect info regarding current contract for future sales opportunities.

· Direct prospects to the field sales team.

· Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.

· Keep accurate records of daily calls with success and failure notes clearly updated.

Requirements

· Proven experience as Telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.

· Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.

· Good knowledge of relevant computer programs, Word, Excel and Outlook as well as telephone systems.

· Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.

· Excellent knowledge of English.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.

· Outstanding negotiation skills and “I can” attitude.

· Reliable transport to and from work.

Salary

· R5000.00 with an attractive commission structure.
