WHAT WE NEED
What will they be doing (main purpose of the job) for/with whom in what environment?

Our team is looking for a dynamic and extremely capable candidate who can work both independently as well as in a team. Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories. This person will assist and report directly to the Retail Area Manager. This role is a great opportunity for a candidate wants to grow within our Company and have strong communication -and relationship-building capabilities.

As a Vetshop Assistant you will enjoy the variety of tasks performed in many areas of the store. Your goal will be to cultivate new clients for our products by answering their questions and providing excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced environment, so you must be a motivated self-starter who can maintain a professional demeanour while speaking to different calibre of customers. In addition, you should have comprehensive knowledge of the business and operations.
If you are excited by the prospect of making a difference by giving support in the efficient running of the TAH Vetshops, then our team of experts is looking for you to join the team.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THIS JOB?
Job deliverables and main duties

• Interactions are friendly and professional according to customer service standards.
• The customer is supported in locating the products they are looking for and alternative or complimentary products are suggested as appropriate.
• Product knowledge kept up to date through reading, attending training and discussions with representatives.
• New products, specials and promotions highlighted.
• Monthly sales targets met.
• Customer issues and queries dealt with promptly and courteously.
• Complaints managed according to protocols.
• Vetshop displays are set up according to brand standards and guidelines.
• Promotional displays are set up correctly and visible.
• Products stored according to standards and guidelines.
• Vetshop appropriately merchandised with products.
• Required forms and documentation completed and filing kept up to date.
• 1 Year Experience on Ezyvet System.

TO BE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB YOU NEED …
Required Education, Certifications and Work Experience:
• Matric
• Minimum of 2+ years of client-facing experience.
• 3+ years of retail sales experience with exposure to stock control processes
• Computer literacy (MS Office).

If you can tick these, you will have an advantage:
• Industry exposure.
