We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Sales Manager, who will be joining the South African sales team and who can generate new accounts within your region.
Tasks and responsibilities
In this newly created role as Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the Managing Director for the African region, and become part of a small but dynamic team of 5. Working from your home office, your primary responsibility will be new business development and opening new accounts for your region, with a specific focus on maintaining prospective new accounts.
We would expect the successful candidate to possess the ability to work independently in a growth environment. This position in involves generating new opportunites and selling across multiple sectors. So if you have an impactful profile, good interpersonal skills and you will be pro-active and motivated to grow and expand our presence. It is important that you have:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Effective time management skills, able to work independently and pro-actively.
Ability to influence & negotiate at all levels.
Abilty to build customer relationships
Good computer literacy
Are good at creating new and cultivating existing relationships
Are able to interact at all organizational levels and in different cultural environments
Have a dynamic and strong character. and an open, trustworthy positive approach to the daily challenges
Essential duties and responsibilities
Achieve monthly sales targets
Open new accounts
Prepare and submit weekly & monthly reports
Keep up to date prospective clients / sales funnel
Preferably you have at least 2 years in an FMCG sales environment. You have a thorough understanding of corporate branding , and Matric is compulsory. Your educational background could be Bachelor degree. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
