Sales Representative – Food Ingredients Division

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our growing team within the Food Ingredients Division. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the Food and Beverage Industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ proven experience in sales within the food industry.

• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and expanding customer bases.

• Solid understanding of food ingredients, applications, and market dynamics.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers in the food manufacturing and processing sectors.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach.

• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored ingredient solutions.

• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.

• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and provide market insights.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and customer activity records.

• Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager / Director.

Remuneration:

A competitive remuneration package will be offered, including a basic salary, commission, and performance-based incentives, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
