The business is known for its professional, collaborative environment, long-standing customer relationships, and consistent growth trajectory across the continent.The Role: Technical Sales Specialist (Africa)This role exists to drive new business development and manage key customer relationships across African markets. The focus is on identifying opportunities, positioning suitable technical solutions, and achieving sales targets through proactive customer engagement. The position plays a critical part in expanding the companys footprint and strengthening its presence in the region.Key ResponsibilitiesBring several years of experience in technical sales across Africa or related marketsLiaise proactively with distributors to identify and pursue sales opportunitiesMaintain ongoing communication with customers and act as a trusted technical consultantSell the full technical product portfolio across new installations and modernisationsConduct site surveys and assess potential sales prospectsGenerate professional proposals, tenders, and customer quotationsMeet monthly quoting and follow-up targets (Bid and Hit rate)Prospect new clients through customer visits and market researchCollaborate with internal teams on product replacements, pricing, and technical detailsBuild and maintain long-term customer relationships across African regionsComplete a minimum of 15 African business-travel trips annually for client visits and project developmentAttend internal sales meetings, product launches, and provide updates on progress and pipeline activityAbout YouSeveral years of experience in technical sales, ideally with exposure to African marketsStrong ability to build relationships and position solutions in a consultative mannerSkilled in preparing proposals, tenders, and quotationsComfortable with extensive travel across AfricaOrganised, proactive, and able to work independ
