Job
Purpose:
The
Internal Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by
effectively engaging with customers, understanding their security equipment
needs, and providing tailored solutions. This role involves maintaining strong
relationships with installers and reaction companies, managing inquiries,
processing orders, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve sales
targets. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a
proactive approach to customer service. Additionally, the candidate must be
professional, friendly, and presentable.
Key
Responsibilities:
Process orders from an accredited client base via
phone, email, or chat.Assist walk-in clients at the sales counter with
inquiries, quotes, and orders.Assist with invoicing and card payments.Answer incoming sales calls and ensure all calls are
handled promptly.Make sales/cold calls to the existing database.Keep a log of outgoing calls.Capture data, information, and feedback from
incoming/outgoing calls in the new CRM.Liaise with customers and stores regarding the delivery
status of sales orders and shipments.Attend to any customer or accounts department
inquiries.Communicate feedback to customers.Report operational issues and escalations to the
Internal Sales Supervisor.Stay up to date with products, pricing, and promotions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in sales or customer service.Strong understanding of the security industry.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
