Full time employment opportunity with basic salary, strong commissions and great incentives established customer base with 20 years of trading

We are looking for a highly professional and self-motivated Sales Representative to sell our eyewear collections (economy to luxury) Join a highly motivated sales team - responsibilities include building relationships with optometrists, identifying networking opportunities and seeking new opportunities through cold-calling, emailing, and social media advertising.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

ü Monthly basic salary.

ü Fuel with petro-card, own car required.

ü Monthly sales incentives.

ü Annual overseas incentive trip linked to annual turnover.

ü Tiered commission effective from R1 upwards.

ü Sleep out travel allowance.

THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS:

  1. Has passion, confidence and enjoys selling.
  2. Goals and turnover targets are important to achieve and exceed.
  3. Interpersonal skills to building strong and lasting relationships.
  4. Excellent organisational skills:
    • Plan selling cycles with rigour and in advance.
    • Showcase samples professionally and neatly.
  5. Build brands and product knowledge in optometrists stores.
  6. Conduct with the utmost integrity.
  7. Preferably with a minimum of two years of selling experience.
    • Optical industry experience will be an advantage but is not essential.
  8. Excel skills will be a big advantage, but not essential.
  9. Admin skills to reconcile all company related expenditure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sale territory = Western Cape, Northern Cape, Free state, Garden Route.

Servicing and maintaining current customer base (over 400 active accounts).

Identifying potential new sales opportunities through networking and following leads.

Promptly submitting purchase orders on line for swift processing.

Weekly reporting on XL past week and future planner.

Minimum of 2+ years'' experience in Sales with a successful track record in sales, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector, Optometry or FMCG industry.

Valid driver''s license.
