What we are looking for: A mid-weight copywriter who is a conceptual thinker and strong storyteller.
What you will do:
- Develop fresh, strategic ideas guided by insights and client objectives
- Write original, persuasive copy for multiple platforms and format
- Contribute to campaign concepts and overall creative direction
- Interpret briefs and turn them into strong creative solutions
- Produce clear, engaging copy for digital, print, social, video and integrated campaigns
- Ensure all messaging aligns with client strategies and business goals
- Help create client presentations with strong storytelling
- Present creative concepts confidently to clients when needed
- Participate in pitches and contribute to winning new business
- Collaborate with the creative team to deliver high quality work
- Work with client services to interpret and refine briefs
- Liaise with suppliers and freelance creatives when required
- Continuously develop creative and technical skills
- Stay updated with industry trends, copywriting principles and AI tools
What you must have:
- 3 to 5 years within a similar role
- Marketing degree or relevant qualification
- Experience working in a marketing or creative agency
- Experience contributing to and winning client pitches
- Strong grounding in copywriting principles and excellent grammar
- Confident verbal communicator (face-to-face and telephonic)
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly to internal teams and clients
- Industry awareness and strong research abilities
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to use AI tools to support copy generation
