Description

a patisserie / ice cream shop in Stellenbosch is looking for a well presented, energetic and motivated individual to join the team as Restaurant Supervisor. You will be managing all operations within the restaurant.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing day to day routines including set up, preparation and service
  • Staff management including compiling rosters, training and attending to any staff matters
  • Hands-on assistance with food and beverage service
  • Stock control, assisting with stock takes and ensuring sufficient stock is on hand including operational stock
  • Cashing up after shifts

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Hospitality / Restaurant Managemennt qualification would be an advantage
  • Previous experience as a Head Waiter or Restaurant Supervisor in a busy, upmarket restaurant
  • Must be able to supervise a team
  • Able to work shifts
  • Have own, reliable transport
  • High standard of client service
