Position: Kitchen Manager/Head Che

Location: Cape Town City (Living close to the area is advantageous)

Responsibilities:
Creativity: Bring your innovative flair to the table, crafting delicious dishes with amazing flavours in our elevated street food style.
Leadership: Take charge of the kitchen and lead by example, while also fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous learning among the staff.
Planning: Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to plan daily specials and maintain both standard and specials menus with forward-thinking precision.
Administration: Handle administrative tasks effectively, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.
Staff Development: Conduct monthly staff meetings and inspire the team with fresh ideas and techniques, ensuring consistency in the execution of specials and standard menu items.
Operational Duties: Be prepared to work weekends and nights, and occasionally close the shop and handle cash-up responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in kitchen management and culinary leadership.
- A wild creative flair with a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, teach, and learn from the team.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car (advantageous).
- Professionalism and dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
