Our school in Mthatha is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and experienced High School Principal to lead our institution as we grow into a centre of academic excellence. This is a leadership opportunity for an educator with passion, vision, and strong management skills.

 Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head of Department (HOD) or Principal in a registered school.

• Proven experience in school leadership, curriculum management, and academic oversight.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification (REQV 13 or higher).

• SACE registration (valid certificate required).

• Police Clearance and Child Protection Register Clearance.

• Strong knowledge of CAPS, school administration, and policy compliance.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and staff management abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Solid understanding of school governance and operations

• Ability to drive academic performance and discipline

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

 Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the high school

• Ensure CAPS curriculum implementation and academic excellence

• Manage staff, timetabling, discipline, and academic reporting

• Uphold school policies, compliance, and quality assurance

• Build a positive, safe, and productive school culture

• Work collaboratively with School Management and stakeholders
