Vacancy: Stores Supervisor

Duties would include:

• Supervise the receiving, inspection, and storage of materials and goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain proper inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing replenishment strategies.
• Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements, monitor usage patterns, and generate reports
• Implement efficient storage methods and layout designs to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to materials
• Lead and motivate a team by providing direction when required
• Conduct regular inspections of storage areas and equipment to identify potential hazards or safety risks and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Adhere to company policy regarding, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Grade 12
• Minimum 4 years relevant working experience in a Manufacturing Industry.
• Must have strong organizational and planning skills. Be able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks while meeting expected timelines.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
• Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have excellent communication skills
