Fleet Controller

A reputable logistics company based in Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg is seeking a highly organised and reliable Fleet Controller to join our dynamic operations team.

Position: Fleet Controller Location: Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg Salary: R11 500 CTC Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily fleet operations and ensure optimal vehicle utilisation

• Monitor driver schedules, routes, and compliance with company policies

• Coordinate breakdowns and provide support to drivers

• Enforce driver discipline and ensure adherence to road safety regulations

• Assist management with operational requirements

• Ensure timely and efficient delivery operations

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) – compulsory

• Valid driver’s licence – compulsory

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fleet control/logistics (advantageous)

• Strong administrative and organisational skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Computer literacy (MS Office; fleet systems beneficial)

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
